The Kootenay Lake Local Conservation Fund is taking applications for its third intake.
Manager Juliet Craig says it’s open to groups, local governments, and First Nations.
A technical committee reviews the applications and recommends projects to the Regional District of Central Kootenay board for final approval.

The fund was set up in 2014 through a $15 parcel tax charged in some areas of the Regional District of Central Kootenay.
