Moyie residents were evacuated over the weekend due to the 1,400 hectare Lamb Creek wildfire.
The BC Wildfire Service says smoke is highly visible in the area and from Highway 3-95.
The fire has grown on the west side of Moyie Lake but no buildings have been damaged.
Fifty personnel were on site yesterday building fire guards with the help of 14 pieces of heavy equipment and helicopters.
