Despite rain, the Moyie Lake wildfire is still raging.
Southeast Fire Centre information officer Karlie Shaughnessy says it stands at 1,800 hectares.
Today 70 personnel are on site with 15 pieces of heavy equipment plus air tankers.
The fire is 2.5 northwest of Moyie and has hundreds of properties on evacuation order.
