A Bountiful woman convicted of taking her daughter across the border to be married has filed an appeal.
Emily Gail Ruth Blackmore was charged with removing a child from Canada for sexual purposes.
She and her ex-husband Brandon were both found guilty and she was sentenced to seven months in jail.
But her appeal argues the judge made mistakes and the sentence was unduly harsh.
