The community is coming to the rescue after a fire in Crawford Bay early Saturday.
It destroyed Jacqueline Wedge’s pottery studio and vehicle while her tenant lost everything.
Friend Gina Medhurst says there’s been an outpouring of support.
A fundraiser has been set up here: https://www.gofundme.com/jacquelinewedgepotterystudiofire along with a Facebook page that describes the items needed.
Donations can be dropped off at Forge and Furnace Gallery.
Medhurst says they’ll also be offering help this weekend.
The cause of the fire is unknown. Crawford Bay does not have fire protection.
