Economic Action Partnership Moves Into Next Step

Kootenay Employment Services says there are two main goals for the community.

After the Economic Action Partnership open house the two goals that emerged were resident attraction and promoting local business.

The open house and month long survey provided KES with the information to begin moving forward into implementing what they have learned.

EAP Manager Heidi Germann says it’s important to attract young families to the area, specifically in the  East Shore.

She says KES will be pairing with Imagine Kootenay to accomplish that goal.

KES encourages the community to continue to get in touch with them if they have any questions regarding the Economic Action Plan and its next steps.
