Santa bucks will be passed out this weekend promoting local business in Creston.
Kootenay Employment Services will be passing out Santa bucks as part of BC Buy Local week to track how much
is spent locally.
Business owner Pat Fleck says buying local is important in building community.
She says she tries to buy local for her flower shop.
The bucks will be handed out at the winter festival this Saturday
Over 25 businesses around town will be participating.
