Three truck loads of food were delivered to the Lower Kootenay Band on Wednesday
The donation comes from Pealows Independent Grocer.
Band Leader Jason Louie is overwhelmed.
The donation will go towards food hampers for 43 different homes.
The community had a lot of volunteers come to unload and organise all the food.
The hampers will go out Thursday night at the Lower Kootenay Band Christmas dinner and tomorrow when Louie and the Band Council make deliveries.
