Creston is starting implementation of its Official Community Plan.
The town wants to add micro-green spaces to the downtown area – this was seen as a priority for residents during the development of the OCP.
Executive Assistant Marsha Neufeld says this will add to the downtown core for both residents and visitors.
She says they’re looking for short-term lease agreements of undeveloped or under -utilised properties.
The town will be putting out an expression of interest next week for private land owners who may want to participate.
