The Kootenay Lake School District has set an official closing date for the Creston Education Centre.
The Strong Start Program will move to Adam Roberts Elementary with outreach at Canyon-Lister.
The Homelinks Creston and Wildflower Creston programs will go to Prince Charles Secondary or a district owned property close by.
Board Chair Lenora Trenaman says they’ll be looking at utilising other buildings near Prince Charles.
She says this is the most efficient option.
The itinerant teachers will be re-located to the new Youth Wellness Hub located inside PCSS.
The centre will close June 29th, more information on what will happen with the building has yet to be released.
