Two people have died in a crash on Highway 3 near Yahk Saturday.
RCMP say a pick-up truck carrying a horse trailer and a tractor trailer collided around 9 am.
A statement from the City of Cranbrook identified one of the deceased as Captain Clayton Murrell of Cranbrook Fire and Emergency Services as the driver of the pickup.
Murrell’s partner was also in the accident and was airlifted to hospital.
An Edmonton man who was driving the tractor trailer died at the scene.
