Kootenay residents will have to wait a little longer for access to WestJet flights out of Cranbrook.
Westjet has announced it will delay the launch of WestJet link.
The partnership between Pacific Coastal Airlines and WestJet was set to be available in March.
In a release the company said, ‘The delay comes as Pacific Coastal continues their work in order to be fully able to meet WestJet’s operational requirements.’
Vice President of Network Planning Brian Znotins said, ‘Impacted guests will be offered alternative transportation or can obtain a full refund.’
The launch date for the Calgary to Cranbrook service has been moved to June 20th.
