A snowfall warning is in effect for our area.
Around 15 cm is expected to fall around the valley and up to 30 cm over Kootenay Pass.
According to Environment Canada snow is forecast to continue throughout the day and night, stopping tomorrow morning. As well strong winds and areas of blowing snow are expected.
They are warning to adjust your driving to rapidly changing road conditions and change travel plans if possible.
