Creston town staff are in the process of reviewing utility rates.
Council directed staff to start conducting a review during budget discussions.
They’ll be using a third party consultant and the process will be funded through grants.
Director of finance and corporate services Steffan Klassen says part of the process will be reviewing beauty parlours.
Klassen says after the review is completed the town will look at bill adjustments.
The 2018 utility rate review will cover both commercial and residential properties.
