West Creston’s rural director is excited to get to work as acting chair of Kootenay East Hospital District Board.
Larry Binks was re-elected to the board for a third term.
He says he’s looking forward to acquiring a permanent cat-scan machine in Cranbrook.
Binks says he has a good understanding of what the district needs.
Elkford Mayor Dean McKerracher was re-elected as board chair.
The Kootenay East Hospital District includes Golden, Creston and portions of the Regional District of Central Kootenay.
