Parents are organising to protest the closure of the Creston Education Centre.
They’re gathering at the Canyon Street school board office on the corner of 16th ave and Canyon street tomorrow at 11.
Organizer Michelle Deshaies says it is impossible to fit the over 200 students that are enrolled in Homelinks or Wildflower into the new building. She adds SD8 is bullying their children and the community.
The group is also planning a protest on March 13 in front of Nelson’s Kootenay Lake School District office at 8.30 am.
