The Creston Community Fire Hall Advisory Select Committee held their first meeting last week.
Fifteen members identified concerns that arose during the December 2017 referendum for borrowing.
Facilitator Kerry McArthur says five main issues were brought up.
Bob Turley and Ernie Polsom with FireWise Consulting Ltd. will be consulting with the committee as well as assessing the current firehall. McArthur says they’ll be present, either by phone or in person, at most meetings.

She adds the next step is to talk about a fire halls purpose and associated concerns with the building.
The committee plans to meet every Wednesday for the next several months.
