Creston museums maple leaf flat-deck truck is running.
A group of dedicated mechanics have put over 100 hours into it’s repair since January. Manager Tammy Bradford says they’ve fixed several things including the brakes and steering.
They’ve still got a lot to repair but Bradford hopes to have it ready as a mobile display platform by early summer.
She says they’re also looking to replace one of the maple leaf nameplates but it’s proving difficult.
The truck was donated to the museum in July 2016.
