The power outage affecting Kaslo, Crawford Bay, and areas of Creston is due to fallen trees.
That according to Sean Bardow from Fortis BC. He says the heavy snowfall over the past day has caused trees to fall on two lines.
He says they hope to have power restored to most of the area between 1 and 3 this afternoon.
