Woodbury on Boil Water Notice

The RDCK has announced the water supply at Woodbury Village on Kootenay Lake is of “poor” quality and should be boiled before drinking.

The Boil Water Notice is a result of tests which show a high coliform content.

Water intended for drinking, washing fruits and vegetables, making beverages or ice, or brushing teeth should be boiled for one minute.

Customers could also choose to use bottled or distilled water, or water that has been filtered through a well-maintained treatment device.
