Stage 3 water restrictions in Creston and Erickson may be coming to an end, as soon as next week.
Town of Creston Manager of Engineering, Colin Farynowski says the plan is to step down to Stage 2, effective September 14, and a total relaxation on October 1.
He says the increase in precipitation has helped the levels at Arrow Creek, but it’s still touch and go.
Farynowski adds, if another hot, dry spell hits, they will adjust conservation measures accordingly .
Official notice of the removal of water restrictions will be issued jointly by the Town of Creston and RDCK.
