Portion of Railway Boulevard will be closed Thursday

The Town of Creston is doing repairs on a retaining wall along Railway Boulevard on Thursday.

A portion of the road between Canyon Street and Northwest Boulevard will close at 7.30 am. Director of Municipal Services Ross Bedoes says it should be open by 3 pm.

He says the closure won’t affect bus traffic.

The road will still be open to pedestrians with barricades up to protect the public. The town is recommending the Cedar Street or Erickson Street crossing as alternate routes.
