Kootenay Lake levels are expected to rise to over 1750 feet in the next month.
According to Fortis BC the lake levels continue to rise due to snowpack conditions. Diana Sorace with Fortis says they’re advising all customers in the area on how to stay prepared.
The Fortis BC website has daily updates on lake levels. The Kootenay Lake river system is at maximum discharge until the lake peaks.
