The Creston Valley Library will soon have a new roof. The Regional District of Central Kootenay Board of Directors approved the contract last week which was awarded to BF Roofing Ltd. for $121,586.36 plus GST.
The RDCK’s Chief Administrative Officer, Stuart Horn, says work should get started in the next few weeks.
The board also awarded the contract for the Creston and District Community Complex Skate Park and Site Works Phase 2 and 3 Design. It was awarded to Van Der Zalm + Associates for $137,930.00 plus GST.
Horn says there’s already been some public consultation about the plans.
He expects it to be completed at the end of next summer.
