Two Creston Leos receive presidential leadership awards

Every year Lions International gives out presidential leadership awards from across the district, which spans from Spokane to Grand Forks to Fernie.  This year two members from the Leo Club in Creston were chosen as the recipients after being nominated anonymously. 15-year-old Andreas Kamps says its a great honour.

Kamps is the upcoming president of the Leos Club and Dillon Smith, the second recipient, is the past president.

They host events, fundraisers and other community initaitatives including last weekend’s Picknick in the Park.

Kamps says he loves helping out in the community.

The recipients are decided by the District 19 president and executive committee.
