The Creston Fire Hall Advisory Select Committee has put together their Communications Plan for their public engagement process. Two open houses will be held on June 24 and 25 at the Creston and District Community Complex with a presentation followed by round table discussions at both.
It was the committee’s 12 meeting last week. They also heard from the Affordable Fire Hall Committee who made a few suggestions. Instead of a health and wellness room they suggested a $10,000 infrared sauna room containing stationary bikes. Other suggestions were a patio in back of the fire hall instead of a rooftop patio and adding four dormitory rooms with bunk beds instead of small rooms with single beds.
The next meeting for the fire hall is on Wednesday.
