LEAP program continues to grow after four years

It was the fourth year for Kootenay Employment Services’ LEAP program in the Creston Valley. Participants  develop a business idea with help from expert instructors and mentors. The Barn Raiser was held on May 31 where 13 of the participants presented what they’ve learned to the community. LEAP Coordinator Amber McGregor says it was a great night.

McGregor says one thing that’s great to see after four years is involvement from the former participants.

She says KES has a new business development program that is currently accepting applications.
