Teachers Association concerned over class sizes

The Creston Valley Teachers Association is calling the current oversized classes at Prince Charles Secondary an ongoing battle.

The school has some classes with over 30 students, which School District 8 assures will be resolved by the end of this month.

President Doug Kunzelman isn’t comfortable with the situation.

He says a month of over-populated classes affects 1/10 of a student’s year of education.

Kunzelam is taking his concerns to tonight’s School Board meeting in Kaslo.
