The Creston Fire Hall Advisory Select Committee hosted a pair of open houses on Sunday and Monday to hear from residents on plans for a new fire hall. Committee facilitator Kerry McArthur says turn out wasn’t as high as they were hoping, but there was some great feedback. She says one of the things discussed was the location.
McArther says one of the common questions was about cost.
She says they will continue to consult with residents and compile further feedback.
The committee will be taking a break during the summer and only meeting once a month instead of every week.
