Creston NewsNewsRegional News Zoning Amendment Bylaw would temporarily prohibit cannabis business SHARE ON: Alex Skultety, staff Friday, Jul. 6th, 2018 The Town of Creston is moving ahead in developing regulations for commercial retail sales and the production of cannabis. Current Bylaws don’t allow cannabis businesses from operating as they are illegal, however, a new Zoning Amendment Bylaw will prevent any from opening until further public consultation and the new regulations are in place, which could happen after legalization. The public hearing will be held on July 17 at 4:00pm.
