The Regional District of Central Kootenay has been gathering feedback to update the Parks and Rec Master Plan in the Creston Area. Residents in Creston and Areas A, B, and C were sent feedback forms and the cutoff date to have them in was July 9. Manager of Recreation – Creston and District Community Complex Randy Fediuk says it may be a little while before the results are ready.
Fediuk says the current mast plan is 12 years old and needs to be updated. The new document will highlight priorities for the next 25 years.
