An official naming and ribbon cutting ceremony will be held for Creston’s new hiking trail this Saturday, August 4.
The event starts at 10:30am at the trail head on Helen Street. Everyone will then be invited to do the hike, which takes approximately an hour-and-a-half. There will be cake and cool drinks provided at the top.
Work for the new trail was organized by the Creston Community Forest who also held a community naming contest for it. YOu can visit their Facebook page for more information on Saturday’s event.
