Creston’s historic logging arch finds shelter

The Creston Museum’s logging arch is now safe from the elements, thanks to a new shelter. With donations exceeding $10,000 and over 250 hours of labour, the Creston Valley Rotary made the project possible. Sheltering the massive tool, which played a huge part in forging Creston’s logging history, will allow experts to find ways to keep the object intact indefinitely.

Elizabeth from the Creston Museum explains just how the logging arch works.

The museum is also expanding their logging exhibit with items obtained from a decommissioned warehouse at Wynndel Box and Lumber.
