Creston’s Trinity United Church’s Executive Council will meet tomorrow to begin dealing with the aftermath of Tuesday’s devastating fire.
The blaze destroyed the church hall, where services were held, and caused water damage in the chapel next door which houses a thrift store.
Chair Merla Pollitt says they will discuss the steps that need to happen to move ahead and potential locations to hold services in the interim.
This coming Sunday, Trinity United Church will offer a 10:30 am service at the Creston Anglican Church.
A preliminary investigation determined the fire started on the rooftop and quickly spread.
It’s cause is not considered suspicious.
