Local environmental groups are looking for help tomorrow in cleaning up Crawford Bay Beach on the east shore of Kootenay Lake.
Claire de la Salle – the Program Manager with Friends of Kootenay Lake – says they’re working with the Eastshore Freshwater Habitat Society.
And it’s always surprising how much garbage they find.
The clean up goes from 1 pm till 4 pm Saturday followed by a campfire and free BBQ.
