CBT funds 2 Creston projects for kids

Columbia Basin Trust is handing out $502,154 in support of 34 projects in their Basin Plays Capital Improvement Grant for 2019.
Creston will receive over $14,400 for two projects according to Manager in delivery of Benefits Michelle D’Entremont.
$6,500 of the funds will go to the Creston Valley Gymnastics club to purchase bars, a beam wrap and other gymnastic equipment for preschool children to use.
$7,500 will go to School District 8 for development of a natural playground for Wildflower Elementary students in Creston.
The Basin PLAYS initiative also offers training grants for organizations that want to host an accredited sport training program or attend training. Visit ourtrust.org/traininggrants for more information.
