Some of the province’s best curlers are coming to Nelson for a huge event in February.
The Nelson Curling Club will be hosting the Canadian Direct Insurance BC Men’s Curling Championship.
The event will be televised on Sportsnet.
Sponsor Chair Vivian Benedetti says it has created a buzz.
She is hopeful this will be a good economic injection for the area with sixteen teams from across the province expected to take part.
The event starts February 9th next year.
