Police received 103 calls for assistance from February 12th to February 26th, 2019.

 

February 12, 2019

  • Received three requests to check the well being of vulnerable individuals. All were found well.

February 13, 2019

  • Investigated a complaint of harassment of a landlord by former tenants.
  • Report of an assault at a local business. Charges are being considered.

February 14, 2019

  • Received a report of a domestic disturbance in Erickson. No assault had taken place, but the parties were separated to avoid any issues.
  • Report of a car alarm in Erickson that appeared to be suspicious. Police attended but no damage found.

February 15, 2019

  • Report of harassing communications between ex-partners.
  • Report of a disagreement between tenants in Erickson regarding snow removal. Police advised complainant to contact property management.
  • Report of intoxicated people walking in the middle of the road in Creston. Patrols did not locate suspects.
  • Investigated damage to mailboxes.
  • Received a call about a domestic disturbance in which the complainant provided a false name. Upon arrival, police recognized the caller and were aware that the caller had an outstanding arrest warrant. The caller was arrested and transported to the detachment for processing.

February 16, 2019

  • Report of a theft of an ATV in Creston. The ATV was located a short distance away from the residence as the owner was able to follow the tracks in the snow. A suspect was identified by police as a habitual offender. Charges are being pursued.
  • Investigated numerous reports of theft of mail at Arrow Creek.
  • Report of a theft of a vehicle door in Creston.

February 17, 2019

  • Called to the Creston Hospital to assist with an unruly patient.

February 18, 2019

  • Attended to an on going neighbour dispute in Erickson.
  • Received two more reports regarding the mail theft at Arrow Creek.

February 19, 2019

  • Attended to a disturbance at a business in Erickson. The suspect had vacated upon police arrival.

February 20, 2019

  • Report of a suspect trespassing on property in West Creston on a snowmobile.
  • Investigated a report of a neighbour using vulgar, sexually explicit language towards another person in Lister.  

February 21, 2019

  • Investigated a report of a break and enter to a business in Wynndel. Numerous items stolen. Suspect vehicle was identified by police. Investigation on-going.
  • Report of a fraud at a business in Creston.
  • Attended to an on going neighbour dispute in Erickson.
  • Report of intentional damage to a vehicle in Wynndel. Suspect known to victim.
  • Attended to a family dispute in Wynndel.

February 22, 2019

  • Report of an on-line real estate scam in Creston.
  • Continued complaints from an on going neighbour dispute in Erickson.
  • Called regarding a family dispute in Creston.
  • Report from a concerned relative that a family member was being scammed on line. Police attempting to assist.
  • Two calls regarding harassing communications between ex partners. On going issue involving police.

February 23, 2019

  • Called to a domestic disturbance. No assault had taken place.
  • Two more calls regarding the on going harassing communications between ex partners.

February 24, 2019

  • A drinking driver was issued a 3 day licence suspension in Creston.
  • Report of possible drug use at a residence in Creston.
  • Police attended to a disturbance at a residence in Creston.
  • Report of mischief to a residence by a drive by paintball shooting. Suspect vehicle identified.

February 25, 2019

  • Report of damage to a vehicle by slashing tires in Erickson.
  • Report of suspicious phone calls with a person looking for information.
  • Called regarding an unwanted person acting erratically at a business in Creston.
  • Called to remove a different unwanted person acting erratically at a different business in Creston.
