RCMP say a drug bust in Castlegar may have netted 70 tablets containing Fentanyl.
A search warrant led to the arrest of three local residents Thursday – two men and a woman.
Lab tests are being done on the seizure which also included three ounces of cocaine and a small amount of marijuana.
Fentanyl is often mixed with street drugs to make them more potent.
In the past year there have been over 75 deaths in BC associated with the use of the chemical.
