April 9, 2019
- Report of a possible assault in which alcohol and narcotics were possibly involved.
- Called to a local school after a student was in possession of suspected cannabis. Although a pipe was found, the substance was not cannabis.
- Called to a dog walking on the road in Erickson.
- Called to an unwanted intoxicated male at a residence in Lister. Police found that the male was on probation with a condition not to consume alcohol. The male was lodged in cells and released for court.
- Report of a stolen truck in Canyon.
April 10, 2019
- Called to a family disturbance in Creston. All parties separated without incident.
- Called to dogs running down Highway 21.
April 11, 2019
- Report of a licence plate theft in Creston.
- Called to assist in locating a family member that had not been heard from for a few weeks. The person was located and all was well.
April 12, 2019
- Report of another licence plate theft in Creston.
- Called to assist in locating an estranged spouse that had not been heard from for some time. After investigation, police found that the couple had a court order not to contact each other. Situation explained to the caller.
- Called to a neighbor dispute in which unsupervised children attended the neighbor’s yard and damaged property.
- Called to assist in locating a youth that had not returned home after school and had not contacted parents. Youth located angry with her parents. Police advised the youth to stay in contact as many resources were used in locating her.
April 13, 2019
- Called to noisy party in Lister with loud music and fireworks.
April 14, 2019
- Called to a disturbance between a couple in which alcohol and narcotics appeared to be factors.
- Called to a disturbance at a residence in Creston in which an argument over music turned into a consensual fist fight. Alcohol was a factor.
- Report of a stolen excavator in Erickson.
- Called to suspicious occurrence in Wynndel where the complainant located what appeared to be meat left in the bush intentionally. Concern raised due to the recent poisoning situation. Matter referred to Creston Conservation Officers.
April 15, 2019
- Report of mail tampering originating from Creston destined for Alberta in which a package was damaged and contents were removed.
- Report of a youth uttering a threat to an adult. Appropriate agencies engaged to deal with and assist the youth.
- Report of gunshots heard in Kitchener. No evidence of any criminal activity.
- Began an investigation into a historic family assault.
- Report of suspicious lights on Mt. Thompson turned out to be a cell tower.
