Provincial funding for tree fruit replant projects in 2016 is now available.
It’s to help tree fruit growers replant their orchards with high-value, high-quality fruit varieties, and increase the value of their sales.
BC Fruit Growers’ Association President Fred Steele says he wants local growers to be more inclusive.
Steele says the approval process is based on merit and there is online support for the application process.
The funding is part of the BC Government’s $8.4 million, 7-year Tree Fruit Replant Program.
