No local MP in govt: Nelson Chamber boss disappointed

The Executive Director of the Nelson and District Chamber of Commerce is disappointed we won’t have a regional MP who is part of the new federal government.

Tom Thomson believes it’s very important to have a government representative on your side when it comes to grants and projects.

Thomson is congratulating MP-elect for Kootenay-Columbia Wayne Stetski who is with the NDP which now finds itself as Canada’s third party.

He says the Chamber will build a relationship with him as well as the new Liberal government and anyone else who can get their ambitions heard in Ottawa.
