A new program at Selkirk College offers students a chance to soak in wisdom and perspective from regional aboriginal elders.
The elders will have a presence at the Castlegar campus’s gathering place and they’ll play an outreach role of sorts for students.

Morin adds the elders offer support and have vital knowledge to contribute to indigenization efforts.
She hopes their presence can inspire interest from all students.
