Organisers of this weekend’s Kootenay Lake Summit in Nelson have a jam packed day lined up.
The 3rdĀ annual event for people around the lake offers presentations, breakout sessions, exhibit tables and live entertainment.
Program Coordinator, Claire de la Salle says it also marks the launch of a study that has never been done.
De la salle says topics being covered by a number of speakers include geology, first nations cultural values, species at risk and fisheries.
