Organizers of this year’s Kootenay Lake Summit are pleased with the turnout and participation in Nelson last weekend.
Program Coordinator, Claire de la Salle says it was the people who made it a success.
De la Salle says the goal of the event is to inspire people who live there to get involved in stewarding the lake, and this was achieved.
The Kootenay Lake Summit is a jointly sponsored event between several local governments and organizations and the Friends of Kootenay Lake.
