A frustrated Mayor Lawrence Chernoff says there has been no progress in getting the specially adapted Q-400 planes to come here.
Chernoff says he’s looking for more co-operation from Nav Canada and the airlines to install the technology in their planes and he’s confident passenger volumes would increase if they did that.
But Air Canada has previously said the special technology helps land in cloudy conditions but doesn’t help for take-off.
