Plans to build a new wetland interpretive centre in Creston are moving ahead.
A parcel of land has been secured adjacent to Highway 3 and the old Creston Valley Wldlife Management Area centre.
Murray Oswald, chair of the newly formed Kootenay-Columbia Discovery Centre Society says the $2 million project will offer endless benefits to the valley, year round.
The society plans to start fund raising and create an endowment fund to support the project
