Remembrance Day 2015

Remembrance Day ceremonies in Creston are set for tomorrow at the Royal Canadian Legion and Cenotaph.

Coordinator and Poppy Chair, Ian Currie says in recent years, the crowds have grown.

Currie says it’s not just war vets and military personnel who should be honored but anyone involved in first line of defence like RCMP and border services.

Remembrance Day ceremonies start with a Service of Remembrance at 10:00a m at the Legion upstairs hall.

Followed by a parade at 10:45 am to the Cenotaph where a service and laying of the wreaths take place.
