Court proceedings for a local RCMP Officer charged with theft have been held over.
A first appearance was scheduled in Nelson Court yesterday but Constable Dave Dyball did not attend.
He was represented by a lawyer.
The matter is in connection with alleged improper handling of exhibits at the detachment.
An arraignment hearing is slated for December 8th.
That’s when a plea is expected to be entered.
The alleged theft occurred in April.
