Fortis BC continued repair work, especially around Kootenay Lake following the storms Tuesday night.
The utility says they conducted an aerial survey Wednesday and found the problems. Two transmission lines serving the Crawford Bay /East shore and Kaslo areas were heavily damaged.
One line was repaired during the day and was providing power to the area until the second one was fixed. The company expected customers to be restored by late afternoon.
Rossland had around 330 customers without power after sustaining multiple broken poles. They were expected to be restored Wednesday evening.
